Sunday we decided to attempt our first drive out of town and it snowed all the way. We had a sunny 19 degrees on Friday, but by Sunday morning it was snowing and minus 6. Some April fools joke!
We made our way to Fort MacLeod and then on to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. It is less than an hour from Lethbridge, but seemed a lot longer when all the scenery is white. The roads are very wide and flat here, so Craig found the driving pretty easy.
This photo is taken from the Buffalo jump, you can just make out the road we travelled on from Fort MacLeod.
